St. John Lutheran Extends Helping Hand
St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church extended a helping hand to our neighbors who hosted a monthly Arts and Crafts Fair event during the summer, which will continue into fall. St. John church provided free parking and ice cold water to those attending and free grilled hot dogs served daily for lunchtime.
The event, featuring a variety of displays, took place at the corner of Fillmore Street and 48th Avenue in Allendale. It is estimated that just under 100 vendors set up displays selling their creations.
St. John provided served well over 500 hot dogs during most of the events and just as many bottles of water. Thank you who stopped by for your kind words and smiling faces! One final weekend event is planned for November 7-8.
